Resins

Hug the inside line and race into first place with Glass Mechanix’s windshield repair resins. We formulate all of our resins to effectively address the damage types you find on a daily basis.

Red Line High Performance Resin
Our newest resin formulation, Red Line is made for high performance and delivers the best repairs possible. A tint has been added to help hide the refraction and reflection that happens when light hits glass damage. This light absorption creates a better finished look on every repair you complete.

Pro Line Professional Grade Resin
The most widely used of all our resin family, this resin is optically clear and very thin, quickly and easily filling even the tightest areas in every break. Our Pro Line Resin contains less acrylic acid than most resin, and is the thinnest viscosity resin Glass Mechanix carries.

Pro Line 2 Professional Grade Resin
Perfect for warm weather repairing, this medium viscosity resin doesn’t flow as fast into the break. It helps to prevent “flowering” where the interlayer of the windshield separates from the glass.

Star Line Professional Grade Resin
The viscosity and chemical makeup of this resin addresses the unique characteristics of star breaks. Star breaks usually have several tight legs expanding from the impact point of the damage.

Pro Line Pit Professional Grade Resin
This very thick resin was specifically formulated for filling pits. It cures to a glass-like finish, weathers extremely well and eliminates yellowing. Glass Mechanix recommends using this resin as a top coat for all resin products. Our Pit Polish can be applied as a final step to improve the finish of every repair.

Crack Repair Resin
Glass Mechanix offers two resins that have been developed for crack repair: our Crack Bond and Thick. Depending on the size and expansion of the crack you are repairing, you can choose the consistency of crack resin that will work for you.
